Judges’ Comments

Brad Ingram

Yet again...this category was wide open for the taking. “Invisible Voices” was well shoot, produced and edited story. The cuts where clean along with one of the best seamless soundtracks we’ve heard so far this week. Simple editing once again proved to be the way to go instead of over cutting an entry.

“Formula Racing” also was a well produced story. The only reason it didn’t get top honors was due it being cut very choppy off the top both in the pictures and the audio.

Terry Lovell

“Invisible Voices”... Thought this was a well paced story. A very nice job of using the music throughout the piece. Shot selection was on point. Complete story that had a nice ending.

“Formula Racing”... Good story. Middle could have been tightened. Felt a bite in the middle didn’t add to the story. it could have been lost. Good use of nats and well paced otherwise. Odd slo mo at the end.
