Story Summary: Tom Rogenski, 64, and Theresa Delzatto, 43, are a disabled couple who live together in New Horizons Village in Unionville, Connecticut. Rogenski is blind, and Delzatto has severe cerebral palsy. Their abilities are complimentary, however, as she can see where he cannot, he can move where she cannot. It’s a love, complimented.
The two met at New Horizons (which is an assisted living facility) and began dating just over a year. This story documents their relationship and courtship, and follows them through their wedding and honeymoon.
First Caption: Tom often leans over to Theresa just to reassure her and tell her that he loves her. Many of their conversations are in this intimate, tight, space.
