New Turf - A long camera exposure blurs members of The Golden Eagles, likening them to flames, as they burst onto the the newly refurbished George Kendrick football field. The 11-13-year-old travel team christened the new facilities with a big win on the field’s inaugural game against the Urbana 11-13 year-old rec team, 34-14 Friday night September 22, 2006. The field, located behind Arbutus Middle School is the result of a two-and-a-half year struggle with the Baltimore County School board and Parks and Rec department.
