Aids Orphan Vicky’s Story - Victoria Lynn Ward, survivor, inspiration and outcast, died July 13, 2006 of complications from AIDS. Her short life was an echo of an epidemic that no longer threatens children in the United States but claims new young lives each day throughout the developing world. She was 18. Miss Ward was born too soon to be saved by modern medicine. She died too soon to fully grow and prosper. But she lived long enough to suggest hope for others like her
