Mia - Living Life Trying. Mia on Her Way to Work.
INTRODUCTION: Mia is 27 years old and has been addicted to drugs for nine years, but ever since her boyfriend died of an overdose in the summer of 2005, her addiction has gotten worse. Normally, Mia could manage to keep in contact with childhood friends, her family and her daughter, who has been in foster care since she was baby. But this year, she has only seen her daughter a couple of times and she has lost connection with her brother and mother. Her brother says, ”You just can’t keep on being there for her, when nothing changes”.
