A Vietnamese girl, born without arms, is the daughter of a family which had been exposed to Agent Orange during the war. She lives in Tu Do Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, where she requires 24 hour care. She does her school lessons using her foot to write. The effects of Agent Orange pass through the genetic system of those who were exposed. So much of the defoliant has become absorbed into the earth and the water supply that it continues to have an effect on peoples’ lives.
