Barriers and walls are a daily part of life for Israelis and Palestinians alike. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is constructing a "security fence" around the West Bank in an effort, he says, to stop suicide bombers from attacking Israelis. The Palestinians say it is a blatant land grab and segregation tactic to prevent them from having access to Jerusalem and valuable farm land.
