About 12,000 people in the United States suffer from Epidermolysis Bullosa, commonly known as EB. Kristin Evans, 17, of Clifton, NJ was born with the genetic skin disorder. She sufferes from the most severe form, Recessive Dystrophic EB. Seventy percent of her body is covered with burn-like blisters. Her fingers and toes have contracted into stubs from years of wounds and scarring. Researchers are still searching for a cure.

A very moving story told by a subject whose maturity we connect with. As she explains her struggles, we are drawn in to see more details of her everyday life. Overall, photos were well edited to match the strong audio content.
