Pamplin Historical Park offers everyone from the serious Civil War buff to the casual visitor a hands-on learning experience. The Civil War adventure camp allows participants to experience life as a common soldier in the 1860s.

The judges wanted to acknowledge the effort to find a local story like this one. The team effort of the photographer, audio producer, graphic artist and designer shows, with excellent use of natural sound and photo synching, graphics and interactivity. The level of photography, however, while good, did not match that of the other winning entries.
