Hadijat, wearing blue, lives with her husband, their eight children and her parents. Six families live in this one building. The family fled Chechnya after their home was demolished and Hadijhat’s brother disappeared, feared kidnapped by Russian soldiers. “In Chechnya, we can’t live like human beings,” Hadijhat says despairingly.
