UGANDA'S CHILDREN IN CRISIS — A child infected with HIV clings to a care-giver's leg in the malnutrition ward of Mulago Hospital in Kampala, Uganda May 13, 2005. The nutrition ward (i.e. Mwanamugimu Nutrition Ward) is an in-patient ward at Mulago that admits children from birth to 12 years for nutrition management. The children referred suffer from varying degrees of malnutrition. EDS NOTE: Names withheld for reasons of confidentiality.
