A piece of the coastal highway near Lhok Nga in Banda Aceh, Indonesia wrecked by the December 26 tsunami , sits along the beach almost a year later on November, 24, 2005. The dramatic change in Aceh's coastal landscape, caused by the tsunami, has made the rebuilding of several hundred kilometers of its coastal road_ vital for aid and trade_ a slow and monumental goal for aid donors.
