"Kanun: shattered lives in a hidden Albania" May 2005 Malecaj.
Luigi and Dod haven’t left their house in 2 years as they are under threat. Their brother Ded killed his wife and her lover after finding them together in his house. Kanun conceives of no revenge for an unfaithful wife, but the lover’s family has called for a “blood debt”. Because of that, all the males in Ded’s family risk death. For this reason, the children can’t go to school or lead a normal life.
