- Camel Jockeys: A Rough Ride Through Childhood
Kuwaiti Ayad Al-Dhaferi, the chief trainer of his families camels, threatens a young jockey during the evening exercise period at Kuwait Camel Racing Club. Ayad was looking for a jockey to ride one last lap. "Get in the car!" he yelled. "I don't want to get in the car!" one boy yelled back. "Get in the car! I'll give you the money!" Al-Dhaferi said as he grabbed the boy by the arm and pulled him to a waiting pick-up truck.
